Create an easy homemade Keto Chicken Pizza Crust that the entire family will enjoy.

Keto Chicken Pizza Crust
Who doesn’t love a good pizza crust? Am I right?
Since I’ve been trying to eat a bit healthier and my doctors have recommended me that I take out bread from my diet I’ve been looking for other ways to make some of my favorite recipes.
Especially when it comes to pizza nights.
We usually make homemade pizzas on Friday movie nights.
Our girls love making their own pizzas and we get to spend some time cooking in the kitchen together.
There’s no way I am giving up my pizza crust and I hope you don’t as well!

Ground Protein To Use
I also wanted to add that many of us are having a hard time finding protein at the stores right now and purchasing what we can find during these hard times.
This recipe is perfect to make with ground turkey if that’s all you can find at the stores.
I’ve made it with both and it tastes delicious. Both of my girls love it.
I would also try with other ground proteins.
The trick is to season and have a nice base to lay the pizza toppings on.

Ingredients Needed For Keto Pizza Crust
For me, the most important thing when it comes to making this chicken pizza crust is the seasoning.
You don’t want to overpower the seasoning, but you want to add enough that the crust has a nice Italian taste.
- 1 lb. of ground chicken (you could even make this with turkey)
- 1/2 a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoon of almond flour (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of shredded parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 teaspoons of Italian seasonings
- Parchment paper
- Baking pan
- Rolling pin
- Olive oil spray
For this recipe, you can do without the parmesan and almond flour if you prefer not to add it.
I think it gives it a thicker consistency and gives it a more bread-like feeling without any of the carbs. Just make sure to add more mozzarella cheese.

How To Make Keto Chicken Pizza Crust
Making your pizza crust is very similar to the baking regular crust.
The only difference is that you are using chicken instead of flour as your main ingredient.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a medium bowl add your ground chicken, egg, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, almond flour, and Italian seasonings.
- Using your hand mix all of the ingredients together until it forms a ball.
- Note, the consistency will be mushy and soft.

- Cut out two sheets of parchment paper.
- Spray one of the sheets with olive oil spray and lay your chicken mixture on it. This mixture can stick easily.
- Lay your second sheet over and press down.
- Using a rolling pin flatten your mixture until it forms a round shape like a pizza.
- Dispose of the top parchment paper in the trash.
Tip: I also like to use my hands to smooth the edges in the mixture and make sure that the shape is round like a pizza.

- Add your parchment paper and crust on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven on 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- You are baking just the crust first and then you will add your toppings.

- After 20 minutes or when you see that your crust has a golden color remove from the oven.
- Now it’s time to add your favorite toppings and sauces.
For the purpose of this recipe, I created a simple marinara and mozzarella cheese pizza.
You can create any type of pizza using this chicken crust!
- Add your sauce, cheese, and toppings just like you would a regular pizza recipe.
- Then bake on 400 degrees for another 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Topping Ideas For Pizzas
You can add any of your favorite toppings on this pizza crust.
I love that the recipe holds very well and you can actually pick it up just like regular pizza.
Here are a few of my favorite ways to make pizza:
- Alfredo sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese, spinach, bacon, and red onions.
- Marinara sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bacon, and mushrooms.
- Marinara sauce, topped with mozzarella, ricotta cheese, and basil.
- Plus, so many more ways!
Maybe you don’t want to make a pizza, instead, cut your crust into triangles and enjoy as “bread” sticks dipped in marinara sauce.

What are your favorite pizza toppings?
My crust was all water around the edges half way through. Is that because I omitted the almond flour and egg?
Most likely because you omitted the almond flour. The flour allows it all to bind together and taste more like a crust consistency. You can use coconut flour or regular flour if you prefer too.
