Ingredients Needed For Rice Krispie Treats
You all know that I’m all about easy and quick. That’s why I create this recipe with premade packages of Rice Krispie treats.
But, feel free to create your own with your homemade recipe of gooey delicious Rice Krispies.
- 8 ct package of Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats
- 24 orange M&M Candies
- 12 oz package of Wilton black chocolate candy melts
- 24 bright white candy melts
- 16 large candy eyes
- 8 popsicle sticks

How To Make Penguin Rice Krispie Treats
Here is my step by step instructions on how to create these fun winter treats!
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats and discard the wrappers.
- Insert a popsicle stick into the base of each Rice Krispie Treat.
- Place the Rice Krispie Treats on a plate and in the fridge for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Pour the bag of Wilton black chocolate candy melts into a microwave-safe dish.
- Heat in the microwave in 30 seconds increments, stirring until melted.
- Remove the Rice Krispie Treats from the fridge.
- Use a spoon to coat each Rice Krispie Treat with melted chocolate allowing the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
- Place the Rice Krispie Treat on the lined baking sheet.
- Give each penguin 2 large candy eyes and 1 orange M&M nose (standing up sideways).
- Place 1 bright white candy melt under the nose for the penguin’s belly.
- Lastly, place 2 orange M&M’s at a slight angle on the bottom of the penguin for feet.
- Repeat with all the penguins.
