While in LA last year for Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms movie premiere I got the chance to take some dance lessons! Today I’m sharing with you all my Nutcracker and the Four Realms Dance Experience with Dancing with the Stars pros and Dancing with the Stars Juniors mentors.
Nutcracker and the Four Realms Dance Experience
As a former dancer, I felt so out of tune with my dancing technique and as a dance mom, boy was I not ever going to show my little company dancer this video! Oh, so I thought! I had the best time during our Nutcracker and the Four Realms dance experience. Not only learning the routine was fun, but being among my peers cheering each other on was everything. So, of course, I showed my daughters the video. Which they thought was the funniest thing ever to watch a bunch of moms learning a dance.
I know many of you are wondering right now, is she ever going to show us this video? Well, of course, I am! I want you all to laugh with me, but don’t laugh at us! Check out the video of our dance experience below as we learned an inspired dance from Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
A huge thank you to my friend Jana Seitzer over at https://whiskysunshine.com Whisky + Sunshine for recording and sharing our video!
Okay, now that you’ve had a few laughs with me I want you to try out the dance yourself. It’s super easy to learn and it’s a great way to impress your family and friends at your next get together. I dare you!
Don’t forget Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms releases on Blu-Ray/DVD on January 29th!

About Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.
