Mini Sub Rolls Back to School Lunch Ideas
You can either let back-to-school lunches get to you or try to have a little fun with them. I’ve gotten several emails about parents frustrated with their kids’ school lunches, and my first comment is, have you asked the kids what they want?
By asking your kids what they want in their lunchbox for school. When you give kids choices, they feel as they are a part of the decisions going on for them. Plus, they are more likely to eat their lunches if they help.
I allow my girls to help me decide what they want for lunch. 90% of the time, they make their lunches after I have gone grocery shopping to pick up their favorite items, like my daughter’s ultimate favorite King’s Hawaiian bread perfect for lunch sandwiches.
The unique flavor of King’s Hawaiian bread allows us to use the bread in various recipes, ranging from sweet to savory.
