Both of my girls love taking a delicious lunch to school and these Mini Sub Rolls have easily become one of their favorite new recipes for back-to-school!

Mini Sub Rolls Back to School Lunch Ideas
You can either let back-to-school lunches get to you or you can try to have a little fun with them. I’ve gotten several emails about parents frustrated with their kids school lunches and my first comment back is, have you asked the kids what they want?

By asking your kids wha they want in their lunchbox for school. When you give kids choices they feel as they are apart of the decisions going on for them. Plus, they are more likely to eat their lunches if they helped in the process.

I choose to allow my girls to help me decide what they want for lunch. In fact, 90% of the time they make their own lunches after I have gone grocery shopping to pick up their favorite items. Like my daughter’s ultimate favorite King’s Hawaiian bread.
The unique flavor of King’s Hawaiian bread allows us to use the bread in a variety of recipes, ranging from sweet to savory. Especially how easy it makes school lunches special by allowing us to come up with special new recipes!

Today we’re sharing with you two of our newest way my daughters enjoy school lunches!
