I will admit it; I’m a huge fan of Disney’s Descendants. Yes, I sat down with both of my girls and watched the movie a million times. Don’t believe me? There’s not much that I can share with us meeting the cast or about some of the Descendants 2 video clips we saw. But I can tell you this…
The cast is phenomenal! If you think Descendants was fantastic, then get ready for Descendants 2, because it will knock your socks off! The newly added villains, Uma (Ursula’s daughter), Gil (Gastons son), and Harry (Captain’s Hooks son) and some surprising ones, are bringing some new storylines into the Descendants family.

The music and songs are even better this time around! Seriously, Descendants 2 is going to me this Summer’s must see movie television for the family.
The original cast shared with us that these moves are harder and the scenes are even more detailed than before. The costumes are created so that the characters can go from dancing to just being villains. We are going to meet some new characters and learn more about the ones we already love!

In “Descendants 2,” the story deepens as the Villain Kids (AKA “VKs”) – Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay – continue to try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure to be royal becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry and Gaston’s son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.
