Easy Watermelon Blueberry Sorbet Recipe | No Ice Cream Maker Needed
Summertime is the perfect season to create fruit recipes that can be enjoyed outdoors.
There’s no way you can have an amazing summer without adding a little watermelon to your life.
I mean come on! You think of watermelon and summer instantly floats through your mind.
Ahhh… laying by the beach!
Plus, when it comes to summer recipes, I’m all about easy and delicious.

Using Seasonal Local Fruits
Creating recipes using local ingredients will not only guarantee that our fruit is fresher, but it’s at the perfect stage to create recipes.
There is no need to wait for shipment and not know the process taken to get these fruits to us.
We love visiting our local farmers’ market or fruit stands on the way to the beach!
We always find the best vegetables and fruits this way. Plus, I love that we are supporting local farmers and small businesses.
Another great way to guarantee fresh fruit is by researching what is the seasonal fruit right now. Also, helping you keep the cost down when purchasing fresh produce at the store.
Homemade Sorbet
Making homemade fruit sorbet is a lot easier than you might think.
This is one of our favorite recipes to make because my girls can pretty much do the entire process on their own.
So, I get to sit back relax and watch them create a delicious dessert for our pool days.
Allowing my girls to make their own fruit sorbets has allowed them to try different fruits and flavors together. Even getting my picky eater to try new fruit other than eating strawberries and bananas all the time.
She now has no problem eating different fruit sorbets or desserts.
I love how allowing her to use different ingredients has encouraged her to try new things!
