  • 8 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Cream Cheese Filling Instructions

Preparing your bundt recipe

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a clean bowl sift all of your dry ingredients flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • With a mixing bowl beat together your sugar, butter, and vanilla. Adding eggs one at a time.
  • Peel your bananas and smash with a fork, then add to your mixing bowl along with your milk and mix until all ingredients are combined.
  • Slowly add flour mixture, while making sure that all ingredients are completely being combined using a low setting.
  • Time to add your cake and cream cheese banana filling in your pan. (I personally like to add a bit of butter on the edges of the pan so that it gives the cake a bit of butter flavor and it helps it from not sticking on the pan)
  • Pouring only half of your cake mixture into the pan gently add your cream cheese banana mixture right over the cake mixture. Gently smooth the cream cheese so that it’s all spread out, but you are not mixed into the cake batter.
  • Pour the rest of your cake mixture right over your cream cheese. Making sure it’s all covered up.

Cream Cheese Banana Oat Bundt Cake Pan

  • Bake your oat bundt cake at 350 degrees for about 55 to 60 minutes. To double check insert toothpick to make sure cake is completely cooked, not cream cheese filling.
  • Allow your cake to cool for about 20 minutes before flipping over on a cake rack.

I wanted to try out some toppings, so I decided to add the same topping that I made for my Flan recipes a few months ago. To check out how to make the crumbled cinnamon topping click HERE.
