The Minions Movie is officially released in movie theaters on Friday July 10th and the girls have already planned our family fun day for early next week to go see the movie! They are beyond excited! This week we decided to create some fun crafts and activities to celebrate the upcoming release of The Minions Movie Starting with this yummy and fun Banana and Nutella Minions Inspired Frozen Gummy Treat.
My girls love helping me in the kitchen and when I say we are making a fun treat for them they know that they also will be joining the fun! This weeks recipe was super simple and although it is almost the same treat as my Banana Nutella Fudge Frozen Treat, this one does have a surprise mixed in.
Ingredients needed to create your Minions inspired treat: (Makes 6)
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of Nutella
- 1 cup of milk (we use Silk milk)
- Minion gummy treats
- Popsicle maker/holder (we love these)
Step One: The first thing you want to do is mash up or blend your banana in a blender. Fill popsicle cup a little less than half way with your mashed banana.
Step Two: Add half of you gummy bag into each popsicle container, into the mashed banana. Put it in the freezer for a few hours until hardened a bit.
Step Three: When your banana is frozen, blend together your Nutella and milk together.
Step Four: Pour your Nutella on top of your frozen banana.
Step Five: Add your popsicle sticks and freeze until the next day.
That’s it! Now, this also makes a great fun breakfast treat for kids. Seriously! It basically has everything that my girls love having in the morning, except the gummies of course.
