My Experience During The Star Wars: The Last Jedi Press Event was a chance to see first hands costumes, merchandise, games, and even droids! You read that right, droids! I cannot begin to tell you that my favorite part of The Star Wars: The Last Jedi Press Event was meeting my girls favorite droid!

My Experience During The Star Wars: The Last Jedi Press Event #TheLastJediEvent
I know you are all excited for me to share the interviews of the cast, but today is all about the fun that happened after the global press junket. I’ll be sharing some merchandise coming out, ice cream flavors, gifts for dad, gifts for kids, and some fun t-shirts we made!
Meeting The Star Wars Droids BB-8 and BB-9E
As soon as I heard that BB-8 and BB-9E were going to be doing photo opportunities I knew exactly what I wanted to do first at the Last Jedi Press Event! I wanted to make sure that I checked out everything, but nothing was going to stop me from meeting the droids!
Costumes From Star Wars: The Last Jedi
We were also lucky enough to take a close look at the costumes wore by the cast during the filming of Star Wars: The Last Jedi! While they were all outstanding and amazing, once I was in front of Leia’s costume I kinda stood there for just a moment. You can’t but think of Carrie Fisher when you see her costume and how she is dearly missed by all! I can’t wait to see her performance in this movie!
Being able to see first hand the details of the costumes was amazing. You see the actors wearing them on screen, but you don’t realize all the little details that they add to make sure that it suits the characters perfectly. From their shoes to the accessories worn. Including the jewelry that General Leia wears with her costume. The gold bangles reminded me of her metal bikini costume and jewelry worn in Return of the Jedi.
Disney Merchandise and Products
This is where I will get in all sorts of trouble! Not only is Disney bringing out new costumes for the kids, toys, merchandise, but they also have products for adults as well. All I’m saying is, Santa better wait until he sees these items available because mama has her eyes on a pair of The Last Jedi shoes and purse!
As you can see Disney has thought of everything when it came to the merchandise of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. From clothes, toys, and even watches! All I have to say is that the hubby is lucky that they weren’t selling any of the items at the event!

X-Lab Virtual Reality
This is one of the big Christmas items that my daughter has on her Christmas list this year! Everytime we see it at a store she wants me to purchase it. I will admit, the game is so cool and Santa might have to honor her request.

Movies Anywhere
If your family is like ours and love movies, then you all need to check out Movies Anywhere! I love that I can take them with me wherever we go! Including on my phone and then attaching my projector in our backyard for an outside movie night!
Disney Parks – Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Sketches
One of the things that I’m excited about is the Star Wars newest addition to Hollywood Studios, but we got a glimpse into soeme of the sketches and even the location where it will be coming to Disneyland.
Ample Hills Ice Cream
There was so much going on during The Last Jedi event that I completely missed trying out the Ample Hills Ice Cream. From what I hear, it was absolutely to die for! So, you can garantee that I will be looking for these as soon as they are available!
The Last Jedi T-Shirt Making and Porg
One of my favorite things that I got to take home was this BB-9E shirt that was created at the event and my Porg mug that has been keeping me company ever since I got home! My hubby was so excited when he saw I got a large size and he could fit into it, until he saw my going to the dark side face to stay away from my shirt! Haha! You can’t get this shirt, but you sure can get this Porg Mug from Zak Designs (affiliate link)!
Praetorian Guards
These guys were a bit scary, so I decided to just take a photo of them instead of jumping in with them. Seriously, do you blame me!?
Such an amazing experience being able to check out all things The Last Jedi! I can’t wait to get some of these merchandise into my house and my kids rooms! Make sure to stay tuned next week for some amazing Star Wars: The Last Jedi Interviews with the cast!
