Just last month I celebrated my fourth year blogging and sharing content on ABC Creative Learning. It has been one of the best decisions career wise I have made in my life, but it’s time to say Good-Bye ABC Creative Learning, Hello Simply Today Life!
Good-Bye ABC Creative Learning, Hello Simply Today Life
Wait! You thought I was done blogging!? Oh, no! Sharing content with my readers is my passion, and I love it way too much to stop now. Even though, I will admit that the past year has been a bit tough at times and there were moments I wanted to walk away. More than I would like to admit, but that’s when I finally realized that it was time to move on.
After I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer last year, I went through some significant changes. No scratch that! My entire family went through some major changes! So, much so that I want to share some of these ups and downs with all of you, but with a name like ABC Creative Learning, everyone expects mostly educational or craft ideas. Even though education is something that I love to share and will continue sharing, it’s just not my sole purpose for the blog anymore.
This is where Simply Today Life comes in. After all of the emotions, changes, health issues, marital moments, mental exhaustion among other things, and barely being able to take care, my children, it was time to move on. It was time for me to see the positive side of this cancer.
Simply Today Life will have similar content which I shared on ABC Creative Learning, with a bit of a twist on cherishing today’s moments, while creating new adventures. You might be asking, what does that mean? Well, after you go through a serious disease like Cancer, you begin to learn how to cherish every single moment in your life, while creating adventures filled with memories! Because, in all honesty, you just never know what tomorrow will bring.
At Simply Today Life, you will still find educational tips, parenting advice, family recipes, my families love for Disney, movie reviews, crafts, and of course the one thing we want to start doing more, family travels! A family lifestyle and travel blog if you will.
So, as you can see it’s still me sharing all of these contents, except that now I have a bit more insight on how valuable life can be. Now, I will warn you. I will probably be a bit more honest on my content than I was before. I do not mean on the reviews, that’s always been my truthful opinion on products, movies, or even a location we visited. I mainly mean truthful on life. I want to start sharing more of my cancer journey, how hard it is to be a mother and other topics that I’m sure you all as parents can relate to as well.
I want my readers to be apart of all of this! Come and comment on a post, whether you agree or disagree! Parenting, being a mother, father, a guardian, and raising children is hard. That’s why they say “it takes a village,” but if we all stick together I’m sure we can create our very own village!
For the next few months, be patient as I finish organizing, editing, and resizing photos so that everything is perfect for all of you!
Now, I hope that you decide to stay as a reader and share this new journey with me! Just remember, you can cherish today’s moments while creating new adventures! You never know what tomorrow brings!
