Now that I know what the Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime is all about I need one local ASAP! I’m not joking! As soon as we left the AMC Prime the first thing I did was text my husband to share with him how amazing the experience was. I’ve heard of them, but never had a chance to check one out! Well, then second thing I did was get online and see where the closest one to me was and I was so sad that we didn’t have any, but I did find out that there will be more opening up this year! YAY!
Now, hopefully one near me!
From the moment you walk up to the theater entrance your experience begins. With a video screen wall that follows you all the way into the theater itself with a live footage of some of the newest and most popular movies.

From the bright picture, to the sound, and those amazing comfy reclining seats! Yes, reclining seats! Like the kind you have at home that lays you back into that comfortable position!
I mean, check out these reclining seats. You have all the room and comfortability that you desire when actually watching a movie. Each chair reclines back, you have your own cup holder, and enough leg room to feel like you’re actually at home.

Not only are the chairs comfortable, but they also pulsate throughout the movie. It really caught me by surprise. Everyone kept telling me the charts vibrated, but it’s nothing like that. It really feels like you are apart of the movie with the pulsating and the amazing surround sound that covers every single area of the movie theatre.
I really did feel as if I was running along side Mowgli the entire time in the movie! Especially during the action parts of the movie!
The vibrant and crisp colors from the screen really makes it feel all so realistic! I only wish that we one here in Florida, because once you have seen a movie in a Dolby Cinema at AMC you’re never going to watch another movie elsewhere! Oh, just thinking of some awesome Disney movies that are coming out in which would be perfect to watch in a Dolby Cinema at AMC!

Now, make sure you get your tickets to see Disney’s The Jungle Book in theaters on Friday, April 15th at the Dolby Cinema at AMC if possible!! I highly recommend watching it in 3D!!!

What an experience that must have been for you, I love the seating. It’s all really very spacious and you don’t have to worry about your personal space being invaded. It’s good to know that those are reclining seats as well. The most interesting feature would be the vibrating. I’ve never been to a theater like that before.
Holy cow that is such good seating and you don’t know how badly I want to go and see the Jungle Book!
Our family is so excited to see this movie! We’ll be going this weekend or next week (during our April school break)! P.S. The seating there looks amazing!

Dolby has one of the best sounds. My laptop has it and it always blows me away when I watch movies.
