Easy Hamburger Helper Taco Nacho Recipe
My family and I absolutely love nachos, especially when they are loaded with lots of yummy and fresh ingredients like the ones I purchased at my local Walmart store. Check out all the ingredients needed to make this super easy, but yummy Nachos that are perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- A box of Hamburger Helper® Crunchy Taco mix
- 1 lb. of ground turkey or ground beef
- Shredded lettuce
- Homemade salsa
- Shredded cheese
- Sour cream
- Tortilla chips
The first thing to do is to cook our box of Hamburger Helper® Crunchy Taco mix. Follow the recipe to make sure you have everything you need. We like using ground turkey, but you can definitely use ground beef.
Instructions
- Brown meat until completely cooked and then drain.
- Stir in 1 cup of milk, 2 1/4 cup of hot water, sauce mix, and rice. Allow to boil and then turn down to a simmer.
- Simmer covered for about 20 minutes.
- Mix together the topping mix and 1/3 of milk. Set aside.
- Remove pot from heat and add cheese topping. Mix together.
- On a large platter add half a bag of tortilla chips. Using a spoon scoop some of the Hamburger Helper® Taco mix and drizzle over the tortilla chips.
- Add your shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, homemade salsa, sour cream, and top off with your corn chips.
