Personally I’m not a big breakfast person, but I know how important it is. Especially on mornings that I go to the gym or go for a run, but I like easy and fast. My girls and hubby on the other hand love breakfast and one of there favorites recipes is my Easy Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. I have to admit that I could probably eat this everyday and it’s a healthier version than grabbing one through a drive-through.

Easy Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients Needed for your Breakfast Sandwich:

  • Pillsbury flaky croissant
  • 1 egg for 2 sandwiches
  • 1 strip of bacon for each sandwich
  • Slice of cheddar cheese

Directions:

Step One: The first thing is to combine two pieces of the Pillsbury croissant before baking. This will create a larger croissant where you will be able to cut and add all your yummy ingredients.

Step Two: Bake your croissants according to the directions on the tube. You may need to add a few extra minutes of baking because we made the croissants a bit larger.

Step Three: While your croissants are in the oven go ahead and cook your egg on the stove and your bacon in the oven.

Cooking your egg: You want to make a flat egg and after you have flipped once add your cheese on top so that it melts. Once cooked cut in half. One egg will be enough for two sandwiches.

Cooking your bacon: I personally prefer to cook my bacon in the oven. Not only is it less messy, but it cooks nice and crispy! When finished lay your bacon on a piece of paper towel to let the bacon grease drip off.

Step Four: Cut your croissant in half adding your egg and bacon right on top.
