Tips For Making Back To School Mornings Easy

I don’t know about you kiddos, but my girls take forever to get moving in the mornings, that’s why I have come up with a few simple tricks that help them keep moving in the morning and making sure nothing is missed.

Leave backpacks prepared and ready

Making sure that your child’s backpack is filled with homework, binders, papers that need to be turned in, and any extras the night before will alleviate major stress in the morning. Especially when making sure that you have the best backpack possible to keep your child’s school supplies safe and organized like my girls Bixbee backpacks!

Some schools require either a lap top or tablet for school assignments and Bixbee is perfect for this! My youngest Bixbee Fairy Flyer in small can carry everything she needs for Pre-Kindergarten, including a tablet if needed. My oldest daughter who is in second grade loves her Bixbee Sassy Spot Leopard Backpack in large because she is able to carry all of her materials, lunchbox, and fun essentials. It also has room for a full laptop if needed! Which comes in handy for mom sometimes!

Check out the Fairy Flyer below!

A good night sleep

First and foremost a good night sleep is a must for both parents and kids to wake up ready to face the day. My girls go to sleep at 7pm and are up by 7am to start their day. You might think that it might be a lot, but believe me when I say your kids need the sleep. Especially the little ones.

Prepare school items the night before

Make sure to check out your child’s backpack and folder everyday so that you do not miss on any important information. Creating a small area where you can organize school or daily table is a great way to organize all your paper work. Set out a small filling system and calendar for each member of the family. This will basically be your command center and where everything will be organized.

Plan your kids outfits on Sunday for the week

If your kids do not wear a uniform a huge battle in the morning might be on what your child is wearing to school. Instead lay out your child’s clothing for the entire week or separate them from the rest of their clothes in the closet. I can grantee if you do this with your child every Sunday, they will be ready to go every morning!

Having the perfect backpack to store school materials can make an amazing school year even better!
