“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
Last month I announced that Kaidence and I will be sharing with you all our Potty Training journey for the next few months as Pull-Ups Ambassadors. So here is how we are doing on Tales from the Potty 🙂
Kaidence has been doing really good at letting me know when she has to use the potty, even at times when she has already gone potty on herself she lets me know. Which is good because that means that she is feeling the urge to go, we just need to work on getting to the potty faster. Even when she has already gone on herself I let her go sit on the potty just in case she has not finished and still has to go. She is definitely eager and excited to use the potty, especially when she does go, because she gets to use my iPhone to scan her celebration marker!
As soon as she uses the potty I can hear her call me for her Minnie or Punzel (Rapunzel) celebration! All I do is pull up the app on my phone and let her choose a character to celebrate with! She absolutely loves this part and I know that it’s a big part of her wanting to actually go potty! The free app also offers videos, songs, and a Big Kid checklist to help her with our nighttime routine. Even her big sister looks forward to this at night 🙂
A big plus for us is how comfortable they feel! It doesn’t even look like she is wearing any type of training diaper, but feels and looks more like she is actually wearing undies instead. She also loves that it makes her feel like a big girl just like her sister. She also loves the fact that two of her favorite characters Minnie Mouse and Cinderella are on her Pull-Ups!
I also love the feature that allows me to see if she has gone potty before even checking her with the design right on the front. Especially at night time when she is sleeping. Because she is not ready to wake up at night to let me know she has to go potty like her big sister does, I really like that although they are thin, she always wakes up dry! No night time wet bed callings for this momma 🙂
Even though this is my second time potty training it definitely does not make it any easier. Every child is different and will learn differently, so I’ve had to change my approach. I’m just glad that I am able to have the Big Kid App to encourage Kaidence and all the parental resources on Pull-Ups website for the hubby and myself!
Make sure to check out the Big Kid Academy on the Pull-Ups Website , Facebook, and Twitter. So, make sure to head on over to share your #CelebrateFirstFlush stories with Pull-Ups and other parents!
Tomorrow Mike Wazowski from Monsters University will be calling her! Shhhh… don’t tell her, it’s a surprise 🙂
Share with us your Tales from the Potty!
