If you have been following the blog for the past year you know that on July 30th, 2016 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer at the age of 35. Breast cancer has changed our lives in so many ways. I have gone thru 16 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, 30 straight days of radiation, and this Saturday I will be going in for my first breast reconstruction surgery.
It’s been a long journey and I’m almost to the finish line. That’s why when I heard that megabus.com is supporting breast cancer awareness month and raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, I just had to be apart of it and so can you!

This month, megabus.com launched a nationwide contest in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) encouraging people to share their story, or the story of a loved one affected by breast cancer who deserves a weekend getaway with a busload of friends and family.
For every contest entry during the month of October, megabus.com will donate a dollar to BCRF, up to $10,000.
The contest begins on October 2, 2017 and all entries must be submitted by October 31, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. CT at http://woobox.com/hdtgbt. To participate entrants must share their story of how they, or a loved one, have been affected by breast cancer, where they’d like to go on their trip, and include a photo. Official rules can be found here: http://woobox.com/hdtgbt. The winner will be chosen and announced via megabus.com social channels on November 15, 2017.
In addition to the contest, a Pink megabus will be traveling throughout the month of October and stopping in various cities including Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., New York, Albany and Boston.
