How I Pamper Mi Bebé Daisy

As long as I can remember I’ve always had a dog. Growing up we had many different breeds and they were always our best friends. They were such faithful dogs and always a great companion to have as a child. One of the first things my husband and I promised to do when we purchased our home 10 years ago was to bring in a new friend and companion that we both loved. That’s when our Golden Retriever Jasmine came to be apart of our home, but after a few years she also needed a companion and the fluffy little Yorkie who was the runt of her litter became Mi Bebé (baby) Daisy!

Keeping mi bebé Daisy happy and pampered is a priority of mine. She is such a tiny little one that it’s hard to take her on walks or to play fetch, but there is still lots that she loves to do. One of the things that I do when pampering my furry friend Daisy is to shop at Target! I just love the huge selection of fun clothes, bows, bright collars, and of course yummy food! Last week I visited Target with my two girls for Daisy’s monthly food purchase. I also know that when my girls are with me, they are worse than me when it comes to spoiling Daisy.

Pamper Step One: Providing a healthy lifestyle for your perrito is a must for wellness and activeness. You want to make sure that your best friend is getting the best food you can possibly offer, that is 100% complete balance. My Daisy loves arroz con pollo (rice and chicken), when I make it for my family. That’s why she loves the Beneful Incredibites Chicken made with Real Chicken Meat, accented with carrots, sweet potatoes & spinach. Many of our favorite ingredients! Plus, the mini bites are the perfect size for her little mouth.

Pamper Step Two: Cute bowls to eat her delicious meal. Of course I could purchase any type of food and water bowl for my girl, but as I she likes things that match in our home 😉 So when picking out bowls we have to make sure that they are stylish, but also easy to clean.

Pamper Step Three: A cute bright pink leash and harness, so that she looks absolutely beautiful when she is strutting her stuff around our neighborhood. Mi bebé is so tiny, that I have to purchase XXS harnesses and leashes. Bright pink is her favorite colors, so when my two girls spotted this adorable harness and leash we just had to get them for Daisy. 

Pamper Step Four: Toys, Toys, and more Toys! What doggy or child for that matter doesn’t love toys? Well, mi Daisy is the same way! She loves squeaky toys and it really is her favorite way of being pampered! I think that it’s also my girls favorite way to spoil Daisy!

Pamper Step Five: The last way I pamper mi bebé Daisy is by making her some adorable boys especially for her. Our favorite is the mini korker bow. We make those in four easy steps!

• Purchase thin ribbon which you will wrap on a wooden dowl, pinned on each side with a clothes pin. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 250 degrees. 
• Unwrap your ribbon and let cool.
• You will then cut your ribbon to your desired length. I usually do about 2-3 inches long. 
• Layer on top of each other facing in different directions. You can either glue all the pieces together or sew right through the middle. Attach to a no pull small hair tie or glue on a small metal clip. Daisy prefers clips over ties.
