Yum… Yum! Seriously! That’s all I can think of when I think of my Gingerbread and Chocolate Glazed Donut Holes! This recipe is super easy to make and it’s the perfect sweet to share with loved ones this holiday season! Ask my girls, they would agree!

Gingerbread and Chocolate Glazed Donut Holes

Being able to spend time with my family in the kitchen is one of the things that I alway look forward to during the holidays. It’s really become a family tradition since my girls were born. Especially because there are so many different flavors during the holidays that we usually don’t make during the rest of the year.

Waking up with a yummy holiday cup of coffee and a special treat is definitely a plus as well!

I love that Target carries a large selection of Starbucks Holiday flavors along with their year round ones as well in their coffee aisle. Plus, while I’m there picking up our two favorite flavors, I make sure to pick up the rest of the ingredients needed for our yearly donut making afternoon.

Plus, don’t forget to get your $5 Starbucks Card e-gift when you purchase 3 or more qualifying Starbucks products!

I can’t wait to have these yummy donut holes with my Starbucks coffee in the morning! YUM!

Gingerbread and Chocolate Glazed Donut Holes ingredients

Step One: Preheat your oven at 350 degrees and grease mini cupcake pans. I like using the mini cupcake pans to create these donut holes because they turn out the perfect size.

Create one recipe at a time, but you are basically following the same steps.

Step Two: Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a large bowl until all combined.

Step Three: In a small bowl whisk all of your wet ingredients together.

Step Four: Fold your wet ingredients into your dry ingredients. I like to use a large spoon to fold the ingredients just enough.

Step Five: Scoop about 1/2 a tablespoon into each mini cupcake tin. It might not seem like enough but believe me, these donut holes will expand quickly. If you want them larger, add more mix.

Step Six: Bake in the over at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Allow your donut holes to sit for a few minutes before setting on cooling rack.

While your donuts cool off go ahead and work on your glaze.

To create your glaze simply mix all of your ingredients together until you have created a nice creamy glaze. Set aside until donut holes are completely cooled off.

Before glazing my donuts I like to add a piece of parchment paper underneath my cooling rack to catch the frosting that will melt down.

Using a fork dip each donut hole into your glaze and allow to drip off the fork for a bit or allow your kids to help dip the donuts into the glaze. Set on your cooling rack and sprinkle some holiday fun to your donut holes. Let them sit until the glaze sets.
