I was invited by Disney to attend the LA Red Carpet Premier and Press Junket for the #JungleBookEvent. Post sponsored by Disney, but all magical junglerrefic opinions are mine alone.
Here is some more fun from our #JungleBookEvent LA trip last week. One of the fun things we had the opportunity to do was to go On Set With the Cast of Disney XD Walk The Prank! Not only did we get to preview one of their newest episodes, but we also got to visit the Paramount Lot in Hollywood to watch as they recorded live one of their scenes and got a chance to talk to a few of the cast members!
On Set With the Cast of Disney XD Walk The Prank #JungleBookEvent
While on the set of Walk the Prank we not only got to meet some of the cast, but we also got to watch as they filmed a scene from an upcoming episode. This is definitely right up my daughter and my husbands alley! They have such a love of laughing and pulling pranks around our home, that I know they will love this show as much as I did!
First we visited the Disney ABC Studios for a a first look at the first episode for Walk the Prank. With some breakfast and coffee in hand we laughed ourselves silly! I mean, I think you could have heard us all the way down the hallway we were laughing so hard. It was definitely the perfect way to being our last day in LA.
My favorite prank after watching Walk The Prank would have to be the science fair with the robot! I was laughing so hard I was crying! You need to watch the episode tonight on Disney XD to know what I’m talking about!
Plus, I have to say that visiting the Disney ABC Studio in LA was on my far fetched bucket list, you know that one bucket list you keep but in reality you know it would never happen, well I guess I can actually cross that one off! Thank you Disney!
After enjoying a preview of the show we all headed over to the Paramount Studio Lot where we would be able to watch one of the episodes being filmed live. You never realize how many times or how many takes an actor does for the same scene over and over again making sure that the director has every single shot needed.
We had a fantastic time being on set and getting to see how some of the young actors scene come to life. Some of the show is filmed on set while the other half is filmed… well lets say live. The pranks are really done to people who have no idea they are being pranked, all while a set of cameras record the entire thing! You may be asking yourself where exactly do they do this? Well, if I gave that away then it no longer would be a fun pranking show right?
Check out this video clip below to give you a bit of an idea how funny the show really is and what it’s all about!
About Walk The Prank:
An innovative new format that blends scripted comedy with real hidden-camera pranks, “Walk the Prank” follows a team of practical jokesters who create hilarious over-the-top pranks for an online hidden camera show of the same name.
The series showcases the natural comedic talent and improvisational skills of new young stars including Cody Veith (“Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”) as the cool, confident Chance, Bryce Gheisar (“A Dog’s Purpose”) as Chance’s younger brother Herman, Jillian Shea Spaeder (“Theatre and Me’s the Bully”) as the tech-savvy Bailey, Brandon Severs (“The Neighbors”) as Chance’s best friend Dusty, and Tobie Windham (“The Wesley’s”) as Will, Dusty’s uncle.
The scripted storylines center on the four kids’ antics in school and at home, which provide a source of inspiration for their pranks. The real and outlandish hidden-camera pranks, seen throughout each episode, capture genuine reactions from unsuspecting strangers.
“Walk the Prank” is created and executive produced by Adam Small (“Mad TV”) and Trevor Moore (“Whitest Kids U Know.”). The series is from Horizon Productions and carries a TV-Y7 parental guideline.
I personally have to say that I got a chance to actually meet the moms and grandmother of the young actors. They have an amazing support system and you can really see that they love doing what they do. I can’t wait to check out tonights episode and see what the three of them have been up to!
Make sure to watch Walk the Prank on Disney XD tonight and every Wednesday night at 8:30/7:30 central! It will knock your socks off!
Also, don’t forget Disney’s The Jungle Book in theaters on Friday, April 15th! I highly recommend watching it in 3D!!!
