Secret To Easy Peel Boiled Eggs
The most important part of this deviled egg recipe is cooking the eggs so that they will peel perfectly EVERY time. Believe me, there’s nothing like the perfect easy peeled boiled egg!
- Boil 1 inch of water and place eggs in a steamer basket and place in pan. Place a tight-fitting lid on the pan.
- Boil on medium-low heat for exactly 13 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare a bowl of cold water for eggs to be placed in after they are done the cooking.
- When the timer goes off, move eggs into an ice bath for 15 minutes.
- Peel eggs.
Tip: If you don’t have a steamer basket, don’t worry! You can still place the eggs in the pan with an inch of water and a lid and they will turn out just fine. It just makes life easier when removing them.
You will be thanking me for this little bit of tidbit! It’s the perfect solution to make the perfect boiled eggs every single time.
