Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Crescent Ring Recipe
My girls love breakfast and usually look for something yummy to eat as soon as they are up.
The best part? You can premake everything the night before and just pop it in the oven!
This bacon, egg, and cheese crescent recipe is easy to make, but you can also add healthier options such as turkey bacon and veggies.
A great way to sneak in some broccoli or spinach in your kiddo’s breakfast.
Plus, a great way to switch up your egg and bacon recipes for something that is kid-friendly and easy for busy parents to make.

Ingredients Needed For Egg Crescent
- 1-2 cans of Pillsbury crescent rolls (see below)
- 5 eggs
- ½ cup milk – we like using soy milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4-8 slices of turkey bacon (see below)
- optional: seasoning/salt/pepper
Tip: If you make the crescent ring just like this, you’ll use 1 can of crescent rolls and 4 slices of bacon.
However, you can use 2 cans if you don’t want the big spaces between the rolls as I did.
In this case, you’ll need to double the slices of bacon from 4 to 8.
Night Before Breakfast Crescent Recipe
Regarding breakfast, especially during holiday events, I prefer to have everything prepared the night before.
This way, there is no stressing or worrying about things getting finished.
This crescent breakfast recipe is exactly what you need when you want to just pop something in the oven and wrap it to go!
To prepare your breakfast egg, bacon, and cheese crescent, simply follow the directions below.
Then wrap in either tin foil or a sealed container big enough in the refrigerator overnight.
Once you are ready, bake in the oven and serve.
How To Make A Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Crescent
This recipe is easier than it looks, so give it a try!
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Spray the cookie sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Cook your bacon in the oven or in a pan.
- In another pan, scramble your eggs and milk.
- Cook your scrambled eggs in a pan until cooked.
- Using the photo for reference, arrange the crescent rolls in a ring on your sprayed pan, leaving the center open.
- I first put a small bowl in the middle of the pan to keep everything from falling into the center.
- First, add a ½ slice of bacon to each crescent triangle.
- Next, add lots of shredded cheese over the cooked bacon.
- Then, scoop out all the scrambled eggs and add them on top of the cheese.
- Top with more cheese for extra melty cheesiness!
- Wrap the crescent roll triangles around the bacon, egg, and cheese mixture.
- Tuck the roll into the center, underneath the beginning of the roll, so it doesn’t come apart while baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees.
- Allow cooling a little before cutting and serving.
Make sure to use the photos above as references to help you out.

Sounds yummy … How would you do this “dairy-free”? Have you found a tasty “non-dairy” cheese yet?

Hi Belinda! Daiya has a non dairy cheese. We have tried it but we’re not really a fun unfortunately. I usually create this with half cheese and half no cheese. My daughter who used to be allergic to dairy still won’t it cheese. We finally got her to eat it on pizza after so long 🙂

You did so well on this! I tried making one of these once and did a horrible job at it. My brother in law left half of it on his plate with a disgusted look on his face. Maybe I should try it your way, haha! Thanks for linking up at delicious dishes recipe party!

LOL! Believe me I have days like that too! I have a few other recipes I want to try out with this crescent method 🙂 Stay tuned!

I want to try something like this without scrambled eggs (picky eaters, lol.) would you suggest doubling the meat? Or is the egg mandatory in this recipe?
Victoria says
You really could add anything your kids prefer. If they don’t like meat maybe add some veggies like spinach if they like that or making a meat lovers crescent ring for sure would work.
