I have always struggled with staying fit and with my weight, but after two little girls it’s just gotten harder to lose the weight. This summer my family and I joined our local community gym because I really want our family to have a healthy lifestyle. There are many days that we are so busy that I just don’t have the time to go or I just find myself so tired that I have no desire to do so. I know that once I get there and begin my workout I always feel so much better!
Just a few weeks ago a friend of mine convinced me to do a 5K run with her and I have to say that although it was one of the hardest things I’ve done physically, I’m definitely hooked! I’ve been running weekly to build my running time and I am determined to participate in another 5k soon, but this time I will be fitter and faster than the last time.
